Albahaca, everybody’s favourite surprise herb
Albahaca was one of many first Spanish phrases I discovered once I moved to Mexico; I assume that claims one thing about its significance in my life. As a prepare dinner – and an Italian prepare dinner at that – I’ve all the time beloved basil and often have some rising in a backyard or flowerpot someplace. It’s a straightforward plant to develop, and in Mexico (as in India), it’s not unusual to see leafy albahaca (pronounced al-BAH-ka) bushes or potted crops exterior retailers or properties.
